ALEX KLEIN

THE ANGLER

I was born and raised in a fishing family. Fishing has been a part of my life ever since I was little. My father introduced me to tournament fishing at a young age and I have been hooked ever since. Growing up and watching my father (Steve Klein) succeed on the west coast and then my Uncle (Gary Klein) succeed on a national level is what showed me that if you work hard enough that you can have success in this sport. I have to thank my father for showing me and teaching me everything that he knows. He instilled the competitive nature in me and showed me what it takes to succeed. He created the obsession and love that I have for the sport of bass fishing now. That’s what keeps me motivated. The pure passion and enjoyment of the sport and getting a chance to pass it on to others.

OFF THE WATER
Residing in the town of Oroville, California, Alex Klein patiently awaits the next tournament. When he’s not on the water snagging 10lbers, Alex enjoys hunting duck in the winter as well as helping out with youth events like hooked on fishing, cast for kids and helping out with high school and college programs.

SKILLS

I’m a shallow water power fisherman by nature. I’m usually chunking and winding something, flipping, pitching, throw on topwater, and throwing swim baits at anything moving.
